The main house offers a tranquil and welcoming atmosphere.

It is the ideal location for the Time Out Project

This of course will be the first thing you see on your arrival to Brettargh Holt.

Surrounded by trees, flowers and fields, it offers a spectacular welcome to Brettargh.

On entering the main house you will be greeted by this impressive victorian staircase.

The entrance is also used by retreat groups as a communal area service with sofas and fantastic views of the fields near by.

This is the focal point of the house, where visitors can be alone spending time in reflection or prayer.

This area is also used for group masses and reflections.

These are the sleeping quarters of visiting groups on residential retreats.

The gallery is situated on the first floor. Sleeps 15 Students and 2 Leaders.

To the right of the main house, down the pathway, is a large multi-purpose hall. Used for both conferences (see picture left bottom) and large group sessions for those on retreat.

The hall is equipped with a sound music system, large visual display units, refreshment facilities and toilets.

The LVC is a self-catering unit, situated at the lower end of the grounds. Ideal especially for Youth Clubs, Scouts and Out door pursuit groups.

Equipped with 2 Dorms and 2 Leaders rooms, an activites room, a kitchen, toilets and showers. Maximum No. for sleeping 29.
